12 companies participated in the tender issued by Cairo Water Company to develop and upgrade its information system, especially Billing.
Cairo water company with CH2 (consultation office) made extensive studies for all the technical offers for several months and made site visits to companies to ensure their actual capability to implement the application, finally NTG Egypt was declared the winner.
In March 2006 NTG won the bid. The development phase takes 3 to 5 months starting in March 2006 and finishing in June 2006 and started testing and implementing. The application will GO LIVE soon.
After successful implementation in one branch, NTG will implement Billing system in 25 branches for almost 1 Million Customer to make Billing system fully automated.
